Berry and Basil Infused Water - REFRESHING

The perfect boost for your summer work flow, I created this recipe for a #TCV recording.

I've never heard of Red Rubin Basil but it's delicious and fragrant. Just put in a few berries and basil leaves... it's that simple.

No sweetener needed for this drink, I think that I'll call it... "Berry Basil Boost." PEACE be the Journey

Lavender Iced Tea - Self Care for Your Senses

Steeping tea is an art in some cultures and bringing in the fresh flavor of lavender can be uplifting to all of your senses. My sister, Rainbow Luxe Hawaii, and I decided to focus on Lavender recipes.

I made a hot brew base added some honey then let it cool. When I was ready to enjoy it I simply added ice & "poof" naturally flavored iced tea. Now I'm ready to create!

Creative Beauty Summer Starter-Kit

Let me say that quality is EVERYTHING and you get what you pay for so don't skimp on yourself. You're an amazing creation of intricate structure and a wonderful experience we call "human being." What you put on your skin is just as important as what goes into your body.

All of these products, with the exception of the honey, is from a lovely brand called Mountain Rose Herbs. (Link Below) I purchased my essentials through Ubiquitous Journey in Tacoma, WA. (Yes there's a difference between their coconut oil and the ones at most grocery stores.)

The honey is local (Yippee) and you'll notice two types; blackberry and raspberry. It's important to know that they're not flavored. This is a natural process that happens when the hive is around certain plants and they pollenate the flowers of that particular flora.

I can't say enough good things about Vitamin E. It's wonderful internally and externally. I also like using almond oil with Vitamin E because they complement one another.

This is the start to many-many-many wonderful DIY beauty products. I mentioned these items in my #BeautyBabiesBigBoyz vlog and I wanted to share them here. ***Good news I'm teaching a class using these items called "Eat It or Wear It" for Free-University. I will be volunteering my services and all the profits go towards Free-U. That's a whopping $25 for supplies but if you don't live in the area then stay tuned. I'm working with Ubi's to make kits that correspond with my vlogs.***

BIG Announcement!

DIY Beauty + Buy Local + Vlogs By ME = Fun
I'm so excited to be working with my favorite Tacoma organic shop off 6th Ave. Together we are designing DIY natural beauty tutorials and kits. Yes you heard me right! What you see is what you can create.

The vlogs will be on The Creative Boost YouTube Channel and on hoomalamalama.com for you to enjoy. The easiest way to stay connected is to subscribe to the channel or get on our email list. We'll announce our big launch on Facebook and here.

Did you also know that, "The Creative View" is captured live and published every Tuesday. It's where a few of my creative/entrepreneur friends hangout with me to share and hash [#] trending topics.

Have to say, this was the best Chai I EVER DRANK!!! The soup fed the soul with healthy goodness. You must try, if you're in the area and if it's available. All soups are made fresh by a local chef.

You know what's also cool... booking an appointment with Kerri. [If you're in the area.] She's an awesome herbalist and long time friend. So much goodness. PEACE be the Journey.
